Now that we've prepared our soil for the coming spring, it's time to plan out exactly what we will be putting in the ground. Join us to learn some of the basics of herb garden design including companion planting, microclimate selection, and access.
Herb Spiral Design
This workshop provides a hands on overview of permaculture design. Not only will we talk about the process in theory. We will walk through the actual design process for Zachary's Herb Spiral, and bring you along for the ride! At the end of the workshop, you will know how to analyze and assess you property for the purpose of growing food. You will be well equipped to plant different kinds of foods in any conditions around your house. Plus, you'll have some ideas for how to grow them in a way that looks aesthetic and improves the environment. The workshop includes one hour of free consultation by a Feed the Burbs designer ($50 value).
**Bring pictures and any useful information about your home landscape, if you'd like to make your site an example for the workshop.
